My vacuum could only reach so far into the dryer vent, and there was always lint trapped deep inside I couldn't get to. This attachment fits snugly onto my vacuum hose and extends much farther. It also comes with a small brush to loosen stubborn lint. It's become part of my regular cleaning routine.
